A caboose was a North American brake van. The body had a clip on roof and was mounted on two bogies.
The body had ribbing for the wooden planks, from which it would have been made, with cut out windows. The roof details showed a raised cabin for viewing and a chimney for the stove. The bogies casting detail included the side frame, housing the axle boxes for each pair of wheels and bolster springs between these.
The liveries included red body with a black roof or a yellow body with brown roof.
The bogies were different castings, the leading one had a pin and the trailing one had a towing slot.
