Accessories

There were a number of railway model accessories to the model railway products.

There was a Gulliver County range of buildings, including an inn, church, country cottage, double shop, fire station, garage, shop and car park and town house. These were made from molded vinyl. The range can be seen in a pamphlet at [the not secure website of] Irwins Journal.

Figures included passengers, guards and porters. Accompanied with a porter’s trolley. These all came in white plastic, unpainted.

There was a range of road vehicles, made up of a fire engine, a single decker bus, an articulated lorry, a landrover and a car. All these were again moulded in zamak and were pre-painted.

Fences and gates initially were moulded with feet at each end but later this was changed to a more stable continuous base. Mostly white plastic, though later production included brown. Telegraph poles accompanied the fences. These were intially black plastic but later inlcuded brown.

Trees consisted of a trunk, which acted as a stacking pole for the sections of the branches. The trunk was brown plastic, the trees and branches were green plastic.
