
These consisted of a tank body, with a dome and with a walkway around the body and the dome. This was mounted on two bogies of different castings, the leading one had a pin and the trailing one had a towing slot.
Detail on the body included grilled walkway around the dome with steps coming down from this. The bogies casting detail included the side frame, housing the axle boxes for each pair of wheels and bolster springs between these.

The finish was either a silver tanker with a black chassis and walkway, a blue tanker with a silver chassis and walkway or a yellow tanker with black chassis and walkway.
Some of these wagons were stencilled with an oil company. These were either US oil companies Mobilgas or Texaco or the European Shell.
