This was based on a corridor coach design circa 1950s, probably for the Union Pacific.
The coach body was diecast in the white metal alloy zamak and mounted on a pair of bogies, which were diecast in a steel alloy.
The roof detail had a pair of square vents towards each end of the coach, with a pair of tapered vents in the middle. The windows were cutout, apart from the end windows, which were solid with ribbing. The coach sides were fluted and ran the length of the coach above and below the windows. In the middle of the coach, there was a long destination board above the windows, with a short one below. A corridor door was cast at the each end.

The two bogies each had two pairs of flanged wheels. They were different castings, the leading one had a pin and the trailing one had a towing slot. Bogie detail included the side frame, coil spring and axle boxes.
The livery was silver with the fluted stripes picked out in red. These also came in yellow with a grey roof. Painting was prior to assembly.
Assembly was achieved with each bogie mounted on a post coming from within the body of the coach. The posts had cupped ends, which were peened over to hold the bogies in place. The wheel sets on the bogie were held in place by crimped lugs.
The coach roof had ‘LONE STAR LOCOS’ and ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ cast in high relief on the underside.
